The Results are Normal (post 5)

The text came in from the doctor. Remember I said she was my friend. I got the text that said that she got the results. She text that they were normal, both of them. I had a mammogram and an ultra sound the same day I saw the doctor. I walked out of her office, gave my husband a kiss, and drove to the test. It had been a few days and I was anxious about the results. When she said they were normal I text back, "What was That Lump Then?" She offered to go to see the breast guy for a second opinion. She said, Peace of Mind was everything". I agreed and called her office to get the information I needed to contact the breast guy. This is when I asked about genetic testing. My doctor agreed and said the office could order that for me.

At the time I was confused because when I was taking those tests, the tech in the ultra sound was skeptical. She said she didn't see it. She asked me to show her where it was. I was a little stressed so I couldn't find it in that moment. I remember the tech saying, "You can't even find it?". I tried to explain to her that it moves a little and that I can feel it better when sitting up. She asked me to sit up and I did. She tried to find it with the wand again as I sat there with my tit out. I don't know if she ever found it, but it wasn't long after that when she said we were all done.

I got dressed and walked away thinking, did I imaging all of this, did I not feel this lump.
