This blog has a singular focus. It was designed to inform and encourage women out there that have a family history of breast cancer to get genetic testing. I am a mom, the wife of a retired military veteran, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an educator, a boss, and a friend. 2 months ago I became a BCRA2 positive gene carrier. Armed with this knowledge I can make choices. I choose to be proactive because with or without a diagnosis, CANCER changes everything!
